AI Visibility Strategies ("AIVIS," "we," "us") operates the website at aivisibilitystrategies.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

What We Collect

Newsletter Signup

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use this solely to send you updates about AI visibility, AEO, and GEO content. We will never sell or share your email address with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Newsletter emails are sent through SendGrid (a Twilio company). SendGrid processes your email address on our behalf to deliver messages. Their privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymized data including pages visited, time on site, referral sources, and general location (country/city level). Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors.

We do not use this data to identify individual visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Server Logs

Our site is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel automatically logs basic request data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages requested. These logs are used for security and performance monitoring and are not used to identify individual visitors.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect payment information, personal identification documents, or social media credentials. We do not run advertising or use ad-tracking pixels. We do not use your data for profiling or targeted advertising.

Cookies

We use a limited number of cookies:

• Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These expire after 2 years and 24 hours respectively.
• We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking cookies, or any third-party marketing cookies.

Third-Party Links

Our articles link to third-party websites, including GEO tool providers, AI platforms, and industry publications. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing them with any personal information.

Data Retention

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we retain your email address until you unsubscribe. Once you unsubscribe, your email is removed from our mailing list. Analytics data collected by Google Analytics is retained according to Google's default retention settings (14 months).

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Know what data we have about you. If you've subscribed to our newsletter, that's your email address. If you haven't, we don't have any personally identifiable information about you.
• Request deletion of your data. Email us and we will remove your information from our systems.
• Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us directly.
• Opt out of analytics tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by disabling cookies in your browser.

These rights apply regardless of where you are located, including under the GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar data protection regulations.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without notifying newsletter subscribers by email.
